We are seeking a passionate and experienced Frontend React Engineer to collaborate closely with our backend developers in evolving our proof-of-concept (POC) product into a dynamic, user-centric application. This role offers the unique opportunity to contribute to a mission-driven project aimed at increasing women's investment and promoting gender equality.

What You'll Be Working On

Product Evolution:

Collaborate with backend developers to transform a POC product into a modern, scalable frontend application using React, ensuring a seamless integration between frontend and backend services.

Frontend Development:

Design and implement a responsive, high-performance user interface using React, modern JavaScript/TypeScript, and relevant libraries.

Create interactive, visually appealing components that align with the overall design and optimize user engagement.

User Interface & Experience:

Develop intuitive UI components and integrate them with backend APIs to ensure smooth and efficient data presentation.

Work closely with designers to translate mockups and prototypes into a final product that is both aesthetically pleasing and highly functional.

Performance Optimization:

Monitor and optimize the frontend performance, ensuring fast load times and smooth interactions.

Employ tools and techniques such as code splitting, lazy loading, and efficient state management to enhance the user experience.

Collaboration & Technical Support:

Work in tandem with backend developers and cross-functional teams to ensure that the frontend architecture aligns seamlessly with backend services.

Provide support and contribute ideas to enhance both frontend and backend functionalities, fostering a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

Analyze the existing POC product to identify areas for improvement in user experience and interface design.

Develop a scalable, maintainable, and robust frontend architecture using React and modern web development best practices.

Create and maintain reusable UI components and integrate them with backend services via RESTful APIs.

Collaborate with designers and backend developers to ensure smooth integration of frontend and backend functionalities.

Implement responsive design techniques to ensure the application works flawlessly across a range of devices.

Monitor and optimize application performance to meet quality benchmarks.

Contribute to technical discussions and provide support to cross-functional teams during the development process.

Requirements

Experience: Minimum of 2 years in frontend development with a strong focus on React and modern web technologies.

Technical Skills: Expertise in React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and relevant frontend libraries and frameworks.

UI/UX Focus: A strong eye for design and user experience, with experience collaborating with designers to create visually appealing interfaces.

Integration: Proficiency in integrating frontend applications with backend services via RESTful APIs.

Performance Optimization: Demonstrated ability to optimize application performance and implement modern state management solutions.

Collaboration: Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset to work effectively with backend developers and cross-functional teams.

Location: Based in Central Europe, Eastern Europe, or Northern Africa for optimal collaboration.
